SkyOne’s A Discovery of Witches is a little over a month into filming its eagerly anticipated season two, and today Teresa Palmer (“Diana Bishop”) announced the show has cast their Kit Marlowe!

Teresa filmed a video to make the announcement to fans, prior to entering a room full of fans at All Souls Con (a convention dedicated to fans of Deb Harkness’s books and the show) to spill the news in person as well: “Hi guys, it’s Teresa here – I’m at the front of All Souls Con. I’m about to go in and meet everyone – I’m super pumped. I will be announcing who is playing Kit Marlowe, which is really exciting – I’m a big fan of his. I’m going to tell you too, alright?! Ready?! *drum roll* This guy! It’s Tom Hughes – phenomenal actor, and we’re so excited to have him jump on board A Discovery of Witches season two!”

Tom Hughes (Victoria) joins as Kit Marlowe – the real-life playwright, and demon and close friend of Matthew Clairmont’s in Deb Harkness’s All Souls Trilogy.

A Discovery of Witches S2 will air on Sky One and NOW TV next year
