Superman & Lois closed out their second season with an intense finale. Lois Lane (Bitsie Tulloch) was trapped in the other world all alone at one point. Kyle Cushing (Erik Valdez) was separated from his family too. The characters kept being jumped back and forth between the worlds. The family moments were just as intense as the action. Superman & Lois is very good at mixing those together. And, of course, it all ended with a sweet family moment. Here are the best moments of the season two finale.

There’s Now A Family Fortress

The season two finale ended with the Kents taking a trip. Lois thought they were headed to a Caribbean vacation, but instead, they took to the sea to create a fortress for all of them. Now that Jordan Kent (Alex Garfin) is helping in the fight, it makes sense that they can have a place for them all to learn about Jordan’s powers. Plus, Jonathan (Jordan Elsass) is going to learn about Kryptonian technology. So he can finally be part of the fight too. This opens up a lot of possibilities for season three.

Clark and Lana Reconciling

I love Clark Kent’s (Tyler Hoechlin) and Lana Cushing’s (Emmanuelle Chriqui) friendship. I hated that she needed distance after learning his secret, even if it made sense. That’s a lot to take in about your best and oldest friend. But their scenes together are so cute. Thankfully, we didn’t have to wait too long for them to reconcile. I need to have these scenes in my life.

Lois Telling Chrissy Who Superman Is

Lois telling Chrissy Beppo (Sofia Hasmik) Clark’s secret has been coming for a while. Chrissy wanted Lois to tell her the truth and stop lying to her. You could tell that each lie was hurting Lois more. It turns out that secret wasn’t helping Chrissy anymore, so Lois told her. At first, Chrissy thought Lois was kidding. Then she started crying because she was overwhelmed by being told the biggest secret in the world. Then Chrissy blurted out, asking if she had to take an oath. Finally, she was staring at Clark weirdly all night. Lois said they would have to work on that, which is true, but the whole thing was just so cute.

Tal-Rho Giving his Nephews Massive Trucks

While Tal (Adam Rayner) has helped his brother in the past, the last thing you would expect from him is to be an uncle, even if Jordan did save him. At the end of the episode, he sends his nephews two big trucks. I can’t even imagine the boys driving around in those things. But Jon absolutely loved it. That’s going to make for funny storylines in the next season. That is if Clark and Lois let them keep them. I mean, can you imagine Jordan driving him and Sarah Cushing (Inde Navarrette) to school in that? I can’t.

John Henry Irons & Natalie Helping Save the Day

I was thrilled when Natalie Irons (Tayler Buck) got her own suit. It’s great that the show is integrating the teens more into the action. Natalie went to save her father but didn’t get the entire message of the plan. But they were able to get the X-kryptonite with their drones and stop the merging of the planets. They helped save the day, but their sweet moment together, not knowing if they would survive this, was so great. They were going to go out together this time. Luckily, we didn’t lose them, and they celebrated the victory at the fair with everyone else.

“I Love You, Superman”

During the victory fair that Mayor Lana threw, Lois and Clark shared a nice dance where Clark said he wished everyone was as happy as he was right then. Then, Lois said, “ I love you, Superman.” (She whispered the last part.) While these domestic moments can be far apart, they’re always sweet and in those four words, she blended her lives together.

Superman Taking In the Sun

Superman had to have his brother throw him into the sun to regain his powers. Watching him burn while thinking about his family was a painful scene. It was pretty insane that that’s what he did to save the world. Superman is always going above and beyond to be the hero.

Superman Destroying Ally

If Superman going into the sun wasn’t enough, he got super fast, let Ally take his power and it was too much power for her to handle, so the Allys split. All the budget clearly went into this scene. After dropping the Allys off with Natalie and John Henry (Wolé Parks), he flew around the cube/circle earth super fast to unmerge them. It was a pretty epic ending to an epic season finale. And to think, Superman started the episode with no powers at all and ended it with more than he had before.
