ABC announced the network’s new fall line-up to the advertising and media communities this week at Lincoln Center’s Avery Fisher Hall in New York City. Amongst the new additions to the slate are Muppets and Feds and… um… Oil! Oh, my!
The second Avengers movie pits Earth’s Mightiest Heroes against an enemy one of them created in a battle that threatens the world. The sequel isn’t quite as good as the last two Marvel movies, but still a great start to the summer movie season.
The first season of Agent Carter ends with Leviathan planning to use one of Howard Stark’s weapons to kill thousands…and trick him into using it. Peggy will get some respect, and decides to move on with her life. There’s also an interesting cameo by someone whose presence is still felt today.
Peggy is accused of treason by her fellow SSR agents, while she tries to convince them the real enemy is Dr. Ivchenko. The truth is finally revealed, but at a high price.
Peggy is closer to finding out who is working for Leviathan, but she winds up getting charged with treason by her fellow SSR agents. Ivchenko tells Dooley about Leviathan, but not everything.
Although Howard Stark and Jarvis claim they have the most respect for Peggy Carter’s abilities, they seem to exploit the fact that the SSR never see her as a true agent. Does this mean Stark and Jarvis don’t respect her as they claim?
Peggy is reunited with the Howling Commandoes and finally gets sent on a mission, when the SSR gets a lead on a Leviathan base where little girls learn to be deadly. Also, Dooley starts to doubt whether Stark is betraying his country.
Agent Carter is back on duty this week, and asked by Howard Stark to recover one of his inventions from the SSR. Meanwhile, Dooley travels to Germany, Dottie shows some unusual ballet moves, and we learn about the “chicken pocket”.
Agent Carter is getting closer to finding Howard Stark’s stolen weapons, but Jarvis gets questioned by the SSR…which reveals some surprising information about him.
